Paints was established on the Northern Beaches of Sydney in 1959, with the trademark name Durobond being registered in December 1961. Today the company still remains wholly Australian owned and operated. With the products it creates Durobond continues to build upon it's strengths of innovative and environmentally friendly products and has built it's business on Quality, Trust, Integrity and Reliability.
Durobond Paints has always been at the
leading edge of paint technology: we were a leader in the
introduction of washable copolymer coatings while many larger
companies were still plasticising the old P.V.A. systems.
We lead now in tough floor coatings, luminous paints, anti-graffiti coatings and superior membranes
and sealers with unequalled weather and water resistance.

At Durobond we stand by our

Raw Materials". We refuse to cut costs in this
or any other area. Toxins and all lead compounds have been
removed from our paints and ALL our water based products are
V.O.C. FREE or have a LOW V.O.C.level (less than the recommended Australian Standard) to protect you and the environment. All water-based paints are low odour and Tropical Anti-Mould and UV protected.
Durobond products are developed,
tested and manufactured in our Brookvale laboratory and production
facility. We have the expertise
and facilities to develop products or advise on existing products
